1. How we select our teachers

We carefully select every teacher before they give any lessons. We check their Qur'an knowledge (especially Tajweed), their experience with children, their patience, and their ability to teach online. We only work with teachers who show respect, calmness and professionalism. We are also working towards Enhanced DBS checks for all teachers who teach children in the UK.

2. Strict contact rules

Teachers are never allowed to have private contact with a child. This means:

• No personal WhatsApp, phone numbers, Instagram, or any other social media
• No private messages outside the lesson
• All communication must go through us

If a teacher ever tries to contact a student privately, we stop working with them immediately.

3. Parental supervision

We strongly encourage parents to stay nearby during the lesson. For children under 10, we recommend that a parent or guardian is in the same room. This helps the child feel safe and allows the parent to see how the lesson is going.

4. Lesson recordings

Some lessons may be recorded for quality control. This helps us check that the teacher is doing a good job and that the child is learning properly. Recordings are only viewed by our team. They are never shared publicly and are deleted after a reasonable period.

5. What happens if there is a concern

If a parent ever feels uncomfortable or has any concern about a teacher or a lesson, they can contact us immediately. We take every report seriously and will look into it carefully. The safety and well-being of the child always comes first.

6. Expected behaviour from teachers

All teachers must:

• Be patient, respectful and professional
• Never use inappropriate language
• Keep the lesson focused on the Qur'an
• Dress and behave modestly on camera
• Start and finish lessons on time

7. Age and parental consent

We teach children between the ages of 5 and 16. Parental or guardian consent is always required before any lessons begin.

8. Designated Safeguarding Lead

We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead who is responsible for handling any safeguarding concern. Any worry about a child's safety is escalated to them straight away. You can reach the Designated Safeguarding Lead through our WhatsApp or email contact below.

9. Serious concerns and outside help

If we ever believe a child is at risk of harm, we will act responsibly and, where necessary, involve the appropriate authorities or child-protection services. In an emergency where a child is in immediate danger, parents should always contact their local emergency services first.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to all parents/guardians who book Qur'an lessons for their child through our service.

2. Parental responsibility during lessons

The parent or guardian is responsible for supervising the child during the online lesson. We strongly recommend that a parent remains nearby, especially for children under 10. We are not responsible for what happens in the child's home during the lesson.

3. Lesson recordings

Lessons may be recorded for quality and training purposes. By booking a lesson, you give permission for these recordings. Recordings are only used internally and are never shared publicly. They will be deleted after a reasonable period.

4. Teacher conduct and contact rules

Teachers are not allowed to contact the child privately (WhatsApp, social media, phone, etc.). All communication must go through us. If a teacher breaks this rule, we will stop working with them immediately.

5. Behaviour and misuse

We expect respectful behaviour from both the child and the parent. We reserve the right to stop lessons if:

• There is repeated inappropriate behaviour
• Someone tries to bypass our system (for example, contacting the teacher directly)
• Payment issues occur

6. Payments and subscriptions

Lessons are paid via monthly subscription (Starter, Most Popular or Intensive). Payments are handled through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date. Lessons already given will not be refunded.

7. Free trial

The free trial lessons are offered so you can experience the teaching quality. After the trial, you can choose to continue with a paid package.

8. Limitation of liability

We do our best to provide good quality lessons. However, we are not liable for:

• Technical problems (internet, Zoom issues, etc.)
• The child's progress (every child learns at a different speed)
• Anything that happens outside the online lesson

9. Age and consent

Our service is for children aged 5 to 16. By booking lessons, the parent/guardian confirms they have the legal right to give consent for the child.

10. Intellectual property

All teaching materials, lesson plans and recordings provided by KidsQuranEurope remain our property. They may not be copied, shared, resold or published without our written permission.

11. Governing law

KidsQuranEurope is established in Belgium. These terms are governed by Belgian law, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Belgium. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.

• Active students: while they are taking lessons with us
• After stopping lessons: up to 12 months (unless we need to keep it longer for legal reasons)
• Lesson recordings: deleted after quality checks are completed

• Stripe (for payments)

Your free trial

Every new family starts with 3 free trial lessons. They are completely free — no payment details are needed to try us, and you are under no obligation to continue.

Our subscriptions

After the trial, lessons are offered on a simple monthly subscription — Starter, Most Popular or Intensive — depending on how many lessons a week your child would like. Payments are handled securely through Stripe.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time — there are no long contracts and no cancellation fees. When you cancel, your child keeps access to all the lessons you have already paid for, right up to the end of your current paid month. After that, you simply won't be charged again.

Refunds

Lessons that have already been given are not refunded. Because you can cancel before your next billing date and keep the rest of the month you've paid for, you're always in control of what you pay.

How to cancel

Cancelling is easy — just send us a message on WhatsApp and we'll take care of it for you. If you're ever unsure when your next payment is due, simply ask us on WhatsApp and we'll let you know straight away.
